Manager of Global Mobility

Senior Global Mobility Manager

 

Our client, a fast-growing technology company, is seeking an ambitious Global Mobility Manager to support their team throughout North America.

 

What you will be doing:

·      In partnership with HR executive leaders, create and manage a global mobility program

·      Provide expert insight into the design and optimization of mobility programs, as required, and prepare budget and cost estimates for business leaders

·      Provide coaching and training to the HR Talent, Generalist and Total Rewards teams on global mobility programs, including complex tax treatments and immigration matters

·      Act as the subject matter expert on all global mobility issues, including policies, processes, immigration and tax matters, legislative changes

·      Manage the administration of the company’s domestic and international relocation programs, including expatriate benefits

·      Act as the point person for all matters related to immigration, business travel and relocation

·      Contribute to the development and implementation of Talent and Total Rewards strategies and provide advisory support to the HR team and business leaders on complex mobility elements (ie. tax and immigration compliance)

·      Ensure compliance of all mobility programs

·      Work with a team of People Advisors, Centers of Excellence and People Operations to identify and integrate an effective service model to deliver value to a diverse set of partners at all levels

 

What we’re looking for:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, Business or Finance

·      8+ years of experience in Global Mobility, experience in Total Rewards is an asset

·      Experience with global mobility principles and policies in a complex organisation

·      Solid understanding of expatriate remuneration, benefits, assignment cost estimates, balance sheets, payroll and tax equalization methodology

·      Extensive experience in resolving issues in a highly complex legislative context across multiple jurisdictions

·      Experience with immigration processes across the world, particularly Europe, Latin America, Germany, Spain, China and the US

·      Deep technical current knowledge of mobility, tax & immigration practices, processes and policies
